The team at Polygon has discovered a way to bypass the original trio and select Pikachu as a starter in Pokémon Go instead. Instead of selecting Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle, walk away from the trio to make them disappear. If you are able to repeat this four times, they return with Pikachu. However, as Polygon explained, this can be difficult. Polygon's full instructions can be found here.
YouTube channel Game Informer has also released a video tutorialon how to achieve this.
According to TIMOTHY TORRES (pcmag.com), Pokemon Go is taking over the world (and maybe evenmaking America great again). I, for one, welcome our cherub-cheeked electric mouse overlords.
Sure, the app needs a lot of work—check out our review to find out why—but it's still heaps fun to get out and play. You actually have to get up, leave your house, and visit real-world locations to replenish important items like Pokeballs, and of course, to catch wild Pokemon.
Unfortunately, Pokemon Go provides little in the way of guidance on the nuances of Pokemon catching, collecting, and evolving. In fact, it barely has a tutorial at all. If you're just starting out, see How to Get Started and Catch 'Em All for a primer on what every icon means, what items do, how to capture Pokemon, how gyms work, and other basics. But I've rounded up even more tips and tricks to help you become a Pokemon Master. Check out the slideshow for more.
Did you know: Pokemon Go has been installed on twice as many phones as Tinder, doubled the engagement of Snapchat, and has overtaken Twitter in its percentage of daily active users?

My trip to Sta. Ana, Cagayan was way back year 2013 when my husband's family (my boyfriend at that time) decided to take a quick vacation trip. As in quick lang. :) We did not stay overnight because that getaway was totally unplanned actually. Well, to take an overview of the place, Santa Ana is a second-class municipality in the province of Cagayan, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 30,458 people. The municipality is on the north-easternmost point of Luzon and includes Palaui Island as well. Santa Ana is the home of the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and the Naval Base Camilo Osias (Naval Operating Base San Vicente) in Barangay San Vicente. Also, Survivor America also shoot in the said place. Can you imagine how beautiful the place is? 'coz even foreighers fell in love with it. Amazing!
How to get there:
Via Bus
You can ride a bus from Manila to Tuguegarao for 8-12 hours trip depending on traffic in Sta. Fe Nueva Viscaya. Many buses are travelling to Tuguegarao such as Florida, Victory Liner, Dalin and many more and they are located in Sampaloc Manila, Cubao, Kamuning and Pasay. Fare ranges from 600 up depending on the class or type of bus you want to ride to. From bus terminal in Tuguegarao, ride a tricycle going to UV express terminal going to San Vicente, Sta. Ana Cagayan. The latest trip in the morning is 10 am because it will take 3 to 4 hours travel to. San Vicente Port. Click here for the daily bus trip from Manila to Tuguegarao and vice versa.
Via Plane
There are daily trips from Manila to Tuguegarao Airport and it may took only 30-45 minutes travel. So if you have an extra budget and don't want to travel 12 hours via land, this is one convenient way to reach the north eastern part of Luzon. You can choose from PAL or Cebu Pacific. From Tuguegarao Airport, just walk outside the airport and few meters away is the highway leading to Sta. Ana, Cagayan. Cross the street and wait for Uv express or buses en route to Sta. Ana, Cagayan.
From Sta. Ana port, there are boats for rent and the local people are very nice and hospitable. There's a P50 fee that you need to pay before going to the island at the Tourism Visitor's office and you have to sign in the log book. So many destinations to choose from and you can ask their local tourism officer for the rates.See details below:
Cape Engaño Lighthouse
Anguib Beach
Siwangag
Puzurubo
Crocodile Island
Punta Verde
Pugo Muro
We're total of 5 during that trip and since we only have limited time. so decided to visit Crocodile Island and Punta Verde because it's already past lunch when we got there. It cost only 600-700 for the whole tour package, not bad isn't it? The waves during the travel from Sta. Ana port to the Islands are quite huge and scary. I got nervous, really! We went first to crocodile Island, from the name itself, it looks like crocodile hehe! When we reached the island, it was so beautiful!

We're planning to go back and probably stay for a night or two very soon. I'm really excited and surely will blog it once done. :)
Okay, so you want to try Polymer Clay because you want to make accessories? or you just want to try something new? :) Well, any of the two, first, let us define what is polymer clay, the different brands of it, materials needed to do some accessories and some polymer clay 101 thingy. :) Excited? Yes? Okay, so here we go!
Polymer clay is a type of hardenable modeling clay based on the polymerpolyvinyl chloride (PVC). It typically contains no clayminerals, but like mineral clay a liquid is added to dry particles until it achieves gel-like working properties, and similarly, the part is put into an oven to harden, hence its colloquial designation as clay. Polymer clay is generally used for making arts and craft items, and is also used in commercial applications to make decorative parts. Art made from polymer clay can now be found in major museums.
In this blog, I'd like you to be familiar first with the basic materials and tools on how you can make your own accessories and charms made of polymer clay.
1. Polymer clay -there are many brands of polymer clay that you can choose from such as Sculpey, Sculpey III, premo, fimo, nendo, katopolyclay and many others. It depends on the strength, resilience and of course the price. For different brands of polymer clay, check it out.

Since I was young, I always love to have cake in every
birthdays or any occasions that I go to. How i love to have a sweet tooth!! :) For me, cake symbolizes a celebration
and it can bring happiness to any celebrants and guests. Hence, birthdays won’t
be complete without any cake. It comes in different shapes, flavors and sizes. Some
of them are made of different frosting and filling such as buttercream, chocolate
ganache, marshmallow and many more. But for me, one that standout is caramel and that’s where Estrel’s Caramel Cakes are known for. They
specializes in made to order chiffon cake covered with caramel icing. It's not too sweet and the cake bread can speak for itself. For me, chiffon covered with caramel has the perfect combination! :) I have known this specialty cake since I worked
here in Manila. Whenever there’s work day gatherings and parties, Estrel’s caramel
cake is always present because our office is located nearby. They have been in
the cake making industry since 1946. Can you imagine? 70 years in the business
and still alive and very much successful. That can attest to the high quality
of their tasty products. They only have 1 store located in 54 Scout Tobias
corner Scout Limbaga Streets,Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City 1103. If you
wish to order, they prefer to call their direct lines and the payment needs to
be deposited atleast a day before your special event. The deposit slip will be presented
upon pick up of the order. Estrel’s has always been and still a made to order
cake shop. You can’t have small round cakes readily available for walk in
customers. They only have it in slices. Aside from their famous caramel cakes, you can choose what filling and frosting for your ordered cake, it's either in buttercream, marshmallow or plain caramel. Also, they are offering desserts such as food for the Gods, baked leche flan,
apple squares and chocolate chip walnut cookies.
As an Estrel’s caramel cake fanatic, I can no longer
remember how many cakes I have ordered from them, for my birthdays as well as
other special occasions in our family. Here are some of the caramel cakes from
the famous Estrel’s. Enjoy and hope you can have a taste of it soon.
During
my childhood days, my family usually go to Manaoag Pangasinan every summer
vacation to visit and pray to Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. It is
also known as the Basilica of The Our Lady of
the Rosary of Manaoag (Basilica Minore de Nuestra Senora del Rosario De
Manaoag) or The Our Lady of Manaoag Church. This is the healing shrine in
the heart of Luzon. Pilgrims came to seek healing. A religious iconic church
which often prayers are said to be done. It is also a good place to pray for
your great request and needs.
How to get here:
From Cubao, take a bus (4 hours) that goes to
Dagupan such as Victory Liner and Dagupan BusLines.
It will pass by Manaoag. There are portions of Pangasinan that are always
packed with cars; think of it as an exercise in patience. You can also take a
bus or private vehicle (2 hours) from Baguio.

Also, these are the 5 things that you can do during your visit.
1. Attend the mass.
2. Lighting candles (Pilgrims and believers begin their visit to the Shrine by offering their intentions and lighting candles).

3. Get your favorite "Our Lady of Manaoag" collectibles such as rosaries, oils and bracelets.
4. Buy their famous Manaoag "tupig" by dozens (a lot of buko strips!)
5. Don't forget to take home goodies for your loved ones from Manaoag like Tupig, Bukayo, Puto Calasiao and other Pangasinan delicacies available at the side and front of the Church.
